Belstane Burn BRAG is a small community group in Carluke that has taken over the upkeep of their local burn. CCI’s Gardening Group went down yesterday afternoon to help spread woodchips on the paths and other heavy traffic areas. Our group also had a tour of the burn and learnt about the importance of it to the community.

At CCI our volunteers, quite literally see (and eat!) the fruits of their labour!
🫐🥔🥕🥒 Cath's Cookery Group uses produce grown on site at Langloch Farm to create delicious dishes to feed the rest of the team at lunchtime.
And as well as enjoying what they make, our volunteers also learn important cooking skills.
Everyone contributes. Everyone gains.
